Weddings Location
The Exclusivity Fee is the equivalent of buying a guarantee that Kaibo Beach restaurant or Upstairs Restaurant will be reserved exclusively for your wedding/event and will turn away ordinary customers.
The Exclusivity Fee:
is subject to the calendar and will change with the date chosen.
is compulsory for weddings at Kaibo Beach Restaurant
is compulsory for weddings at Upstairs restaurant
is subject to black-out dates.
Waive the Exclusivity Fee
There is no Exclusivity Fee for the hire of Kaibo’s Event Beach.
It is important to note that if you do not choose an Exclusivity Option, Kaibo will operate business as usual in conjunction with your event in both our restaurants.
Events without an Exclusivity Option, with a live band or DJ, are subject to noise restrictions before 9pm.
Black Out Dates
Exclusivity of Kaibo’s restaurants cannot be purchased on certain dates.
These dates are as follows:
Kaibo Beach Restaurant Black Out Dates
All Saturdays and Sundays.
Tuesdays in Jan, Feb, March, Apr, May, Jun, July, Aug, Nov, December.
Fridays in Jan, Feb, March, April and December.
All Public Holiday Mondays.
All days, 1 week before and after Christmas and Easter week.
Upstairs Restaurant Black Out Dates
All dates in September and October
All days, 1 week before and after Christmas and Easter week.
Rain Insurance
Rain in the Caribbean is expected in the months June through November. In the event of rain, Kaibo recommend you hire a large tent for the Event Beach, or choose one of the following exclusivity options:
- Kaibo Beach Restaurant – Your event can be moved to the covered area on beach level, for a reasonably dry outdoor option.
- Upstairs restaurant – Move Upstairs, for a completely dry indoor option. Reserving Upstairs as the ‘back-up’ Rain Option limits the number of guests to a maximum of 72 people.
PLEASE NOTE: If the weather is wet on the day of your wedding, the final Rain Option decision must be made four hours before the start time if it is raining intermittently. Once this decision is made, it is final, and cannot be reversed, regardless of what the weather then does.

Exclusive use of the whole of Kaibo is available; fees are subject to day of the week and season.
All exclusivity arrangements are available from 3pm on the day of your wedding.
